Out of curiosity what resin are you using? Just thinking the size of the cast will produce some heat.
Dunno if you missed this, but i might have a large cast to do myself at some point soon (not bond related).
I've done some casts in the past that have deformed during curing due to high exotherm, hence my enquiry, didn't know if you could recommend a certain type of resin?
You can pm in confidence if you like if you're not wanting to make the 'trade secrets' public?

Adam, it really looks great. You are doibg a great job. One thing I am wondering. Why do you use the green/yellow color so much? In my opinion the original has much less of these colors, I sent the link of the original to you so you can see it for yourself.

Amazing work Adam! The mould looks spot on! Regarding the colours though, I’d agree with this comment too. I don’t see any lichen on the original sign, only on the surrounding brickwork/stonework. Also, the sign seems to be a much more uniform mid grey/light grey but this might be the photograph or lighting.

The Christie’s auction plaque is a recast from one of the originals, and in fibreglass not polyurethane. It’s also the wrong colour completely and is missing much of the detail. They created them specifically for auctioning and gifts. I actually like the sandy colour they put on them, but the screen used one is a slate grey with almost black detaills.
