French cleat as per your suggestion thanks. I have though attached it via two fabric cables (IKEA) so it can’t just be lifted off by anyone- thanks all for their assistance
Work on mounting my Skyfall sign is progressing nicely... B-)
Bloody hell! You’re going all out on this! Can’t wait to see it! -{
Are you rebuilding Skyfall brick by brick so you can fix the sign :-)
Getting closer... the sign is up!
The garage needed doing anyway and this will be my Bond display corner.
I’m pleased with how this is working out. Although the sign in the film is on a dark grey granite pillar, I’ve opted to use the lighter and mixed stone because it also needs to match the outside of the house. But the greys also match the sign really well too.
I’m really pleased with how this is turning out. The feature wall is in my garage and I will put some glass display units in front of it to house my small Bond display. Grouting is now all finished but I need to touch up the sign a little with some model paints and then add some model lichen...
This sign isn’t going anywhere for a looooong time! It’s now a permanent fixture. B-)
Excellent paint work Adam by the way!! It’s amazing how realistic the sign looks next to real stone, even up close!
