I've wanted to try this for a while. After looking around for a suitable donor and not finding anything, I thought i'd try my hand at sculpting. I've bought some basic tools, watched a couple of youtube clips and dived right in.



It'll take a while to perfect no doubt but it'll be worth it, something to bugger about with while the mrs watches her ER boxset anyway.

The scale is 1:18 to match my DB5 model.

That was a great post to read, someone taking up a hobby to achieve a personal goal. Can't happen more enough, so nice to hear someone isn't glued to their PlayStation (of whatever the kids play these days) or Netflix. Applauded!

Sculpting is something i've never done before and although i know people who do it themselves, it's something i've never needed to learn. But making stuff is my passion, and you never stop learning. The more strings on your bow the better, and while i'm not professing to be an expert, i know my way around a workshop.

Hopefully this'll turn out ok. Time will tell.

Slowly getting there, think the front legs need thinning out a bit, more bulk needed on the shoulders and oh yeah, as 'brains of britain' stated, a head.

When it's finished, you should have a stag party. Maybe sell a few, although hopefully the price won't be too deer, maybe just a buck or two.

Well it's got the front legs of a donkey, the back legs of a gazelle and i don't even wanna guess where the head originated from. But it's getting there, slowly.
