Casino Royale: Laptop in the Water?

I swear when I saw CR in theatres, after Bond's phone call with M ("The bitch is dead," etc.), he took out his earpiece and knocked his Sony Vaio laptop off the boat into the water. I bought the Blu-ray the other day, and it's not in the movie. I wonder if I imagined it. I couldn't have. So, I checked the script. It's in there!




Does anyone else remember this? My theory is that Sony decided it didn't want its product discarded like that, and objected before the movie hit home video.

I don't have any memory of this at all, as far as I can recall that scene plays the same now as it did when I first saw it back in 2006.
And Dolly still doesn't have braces

It was filmed but never shown in the final cut. I posted it up on here years ago as well as on YouTube, it was probably there that you saw it. He never had an earpiece though. The final shot had the laptop siinking to the bottom and lodging in the sand, it showed a picture of Vesper and Bond flickering before the screen died. The next shot was of Mr White pulling onto his drive.
