Dear all,

I have the option to buy a 2005 Brioni Tuxedo. The question i am asking myself is if it is the same one worn in Casino Royale. To help identify it, here some photos. I would be really happy for any advice. My tuxedo is shown on pictures 3-5

That is not the same. The lapels are a different shape. Brioni sold a version of the Casino Royale dinner suit and labelled it as such.

Thank you Matt, now i can also see the lapel is a bit longer and a little more trimmed, correct? Really difficult to point out for my untrained eye.

Thank you also @richmenstoys for the link :)

I'm bumping an old thread because I didn't want to start a new one. A few months ago I bought a CR era Brioni Spartaco-cut tuxedo. To my eye all the details seem just about right. I understand it's not the branded "for James Bond" cut so it's not 100% screen accurate. But exactly how do the "Spartaco" cut and the "for James Bond" cut differ?

I asked the question before really diving in to find the answer myself. But, side by side, the answer is pretty clear. On the left is the Bond cut, the right is the Spartaco. The Bond lapel is more angular while the Spartaco has a rounder look. And the button stance on the Bond cut is lower. Those seem to be the main differences. The angles aren't perfectly matched but I think close enough to make some accurate comparisons.
