Favourite Bond Girl poll - with FINALE poll!

I think it's time we had this poll - something nice to do this Christmas?
I have included alle EON films and NSNA. I have based the selection on women who are listed under "sexual conquests" in Wikipedia, but a couple are left out because of the limitations on the number of options in a poll. They are minor characters With little screen time. I have added two (Camille in QoS and Plenty o'Toole because they are so memorable). Some may disagree, but this is my prerogative since I made the polls.

It's possible to create polls online where people can rank the answers, but I felt it was too much work to learn to use a new program. Instead I have made two polls in PollCode. They only allow 30 options in one poll, so I had to split them in two. Please reply to both polls!
You can chose up to three Bond Girls in each poll. After New Year I will create a new poll with the ten Bond Girls who got the most votes, regardles if they were listed in Poll 1 or Poll 2. The Finale Poll will be one choice only.

I don't think we have seen Vesper Lynd in very many other places, but you may be thinking of Eva Green? :v
I think Eva Green's appearences elsewhere can be a factor, but I think Vesper being a very interesting character in one of the best Bond Movies ever also plays a part. If only (revealing?) apprearances in other movies were so important, Madeline Swann (Lea Seydoux) would get far more votes.

You mean Vesper, not Green? That wasn't worth commenting on, no. I had a larger point. If you were referring to "The Dreamers", I can tell you "Blue is the warmest colour" makes that film look like a Disney movie.

It was easier to choose in the first poll, with the classic-era characters, because those characters permanently fixed themselves in a certain part of my imagination at a very impressionable age, ahem. So Honey Rider and Anya Amasova of course. And Tiffany Case, because I think she would be most fun to actually hang out with.

The second poll is more difficult, because I was torn between the allure of the actress playing the character and the role of the character as written in the script. So I actually picked Christmas Jones because she is hella-sexy, even though the intellectual part of my brain knows damn well all her scenes should have just been edited out of an otherwise decent film. (as a wise man once said: first things first)

On the first poll, it had to be Honey Ryder, Tracy and Volpe for me.
It was a toss up between Volpe, Anya and Pussy Gallore.

For the second poll, choices were much harder as I respected some girls a bit more than others due to their respective movie's place in my heart, while knowing that there were other better ones to choose from.
I chose Holly, Natalya and Vesper.
While I coulda replaced Holly with Wai Lin or Pam Bouvier, I like Moonraker that much. Pam's good, but not on the same level as Holly to me even if I objectively like LTK more than MR. Wai Lin is the second best Brosnan era girl and i'll be damned if she's not hot but she's just a better Anya and we never really got to know her in the movie. The same could be said about Holly but I dunno.

Then there's the problem of Bond girls who ended up as or were villains. I think that their inclusion was unfair, though they were Bond girls. Volpe's a clear cut villain, so was Onnatopp. I love both characters but they're just not...Bond girl enough for me, even if I did vote on Volpe.

The grounds on which I eventually voted on were how much of an impression their characters made on me in the movie.
And well, cuz they're hot.
If the Craig era was a third poll, Swann woulda been in there, for sure.

in fact she was played by Ursula Andress in the "funny" 1967 version.
I know that makes things a bit confusing, but you've got two different Maud Adams characters on your list, and Domino was played by two different actresses in two different movies both on your list.

In the 1954 live teleplay, Vesper was replaced by Valerie Mathis, a woman from Jimmy Bond's past with no suicidal inclinations.

The results of the first two polls were interesting. Poll1 covered DN to TSWLM, but about 70% of the most popular Bond Girls were from this poll. It seems the "classical" Bond Girls still have a hold on our hearts.

Some individual results were more surprising. I would have guessed the Masterson sisters from GF to do better, and Pussy Galore didn't make it to the finals! Who would have guessed Pam Bouvier made it to the finals while Wai Lin didn't get a single vote? It's also worth noting that Madeleine Swann was one vote from joining the finals.

Rosie Carver, the fighting Gipsy girls, Jinx and Stacy Sutton and others didn't get a single vote. Personally I don't mind the Gypsy duelists, but the others was no surprise. There is so much to learn from this ...

so were the votes more evenly split in the second poll and more concentrated on a few popular choices in the first poll?
