I really like that logo. It's much different than anything we've seen in a while, and it's refreshing. The title is one of the better of the titles we've heard. Brings back the feeling of a Brosnan title or a Gardner title. It's not Fleming, but it has a Bond sound.

Agreed! I thought immediately of Gardner, and in a good way. The teaser was also cool.

It's a stencil-type typeface, but it's considerably different from Modernist Stencil. My guess is that this typeface dates to 2019 and was created for the logo.
LIVE AND LET DIE
TOMORROW NEVER DIES
DIE ANOTHER DAY
so what makes
NO TIME TO DIE
feel remotely fresh, inspiring, original? Meh. 8-) Zero creativity. Kinda pathetic. (sorry to be come over harsh, just my honest opinion) Let's hope the film is better than its generic title!

At least it has more to it than Spectre, and it doesn't give away anything like Spectre did.
It’s ‘Risico’ in Holland, I know there’s regional variations.
I can understand this word sounds appealing for someone who doesn't really know the context, but as a Dutch person it's kind of bland. I like Skyfall, because it's short as well but it has a mystery around it. Risico as a Dutch person could also be about someone who's late to catch a train. I do like the title No Time To Die though.
Don't confuse me with the other DutchBondFan, but be sure to follow his YouTube account. You can read my articles on James Bond Nederland: www.jamesbond.nl/author/gosse/
I wish it was like that here in San Mateo County and actually the rest of California. We fully re-opened on June 15th. We didn't even have to wear masks if we were vaccinated. Instead of the numbers staying steady and going down, it went the opposite way. Numbers slowly started to tick back up. Stores and other things are fully open, but masks are required for everybody. I do hope numbers start to go back down again and the mask mandate can go back to masks optional for the vaccinated and required for the unvaccinated.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope
In the US, as Mr. Martini previously posted, we were doing pretty well and appeared to be on our way out of this mess but the Delta Strain has reared its ugly head, primarily among the unvaccinated and in states with low vaccine rates things have become rather dicey once again. Even more unfortunately, younger folks and children are now being hospitalized in those states. Hopefully, people who have been resistant to being vaccinated will rethink things and we can get back on track to beat this thing once again. Even though I am vaccinated I have started wearing a mask indoors once again. I don't mean to offend anyone, but it's really time for folks to start listening to science and doctors once again.
Don't think its a big enough market to drive any global decisions but remains frustrating that a month out the only tickets you can buy for NTTD cost £25k and require a trip to Monaco.

I wonder if Nolan's repeated use of the word time in his Tenet trailer had any influence?
That font seems very retro to me. 1970s maybe?
I think it's a version of the Modernist Stencil font.

. Risico.
Gun In My Hand
Never Dream of Dying
I'd be happy to put 3 million on Risico NEVER being a Bond title. They've had plenty of opportunities and it hasn't happened.
Suggest we end this. . .the topic of the thread is FACTUAL news.
It may be hard to sell an italian word nobody knows. Maybe they could do a variant with risk in the title, like the bloodstone song 'risk it all'.
Ye I assumed it was Italian originally but then I heard it on a Dutch tv show (black widow?) did some digging, turns out it’s used quite widely.

The marketing company Onkabatse has been hires to promote NTTD from August 1st.
Something has to go really bad for he release date to change again, in my opinion.
Somehow the British Covid numbers are going down after opening up. Good news for NTTD!

I see Australia has pushed back to November.

This thread having run its course, it's no longer an announcement (what we used to call "sticky").
