    James Bond weeps.

He weeps at the start of Chapter 19 in CR.
He weeps at the end of Chapter 22 in LALD.
He cries (implied) in Chapter 22 of YOLT.

No doubt there are more, but that's enough to prove that it is not against his character.

Ha, that's a crucial turn of events!

For years, Timboys have flat out denied that Dalton weeps, now you come up and say: It's ok that he weeps, because the books-Bond did it as well.

I don't usually do that :)) , but for the argument's sake , can we all agree, that the book-Bond wept in a manly, graceful Connery-kind of way while Dalton is going the annoying girly weak and weepy route? :v

And Dalton does not only weep when he's devastated, he also weeps when he's angry, happy, overjoyed

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

Good Lord, Higgy-poo, you do have an amazing way of twisting other people's words to suit your current argument whatever that may be.
The inferences you have drawn from my simple factual statement are yours and yours alone. I will add, though, that Dalton is on record as having read Fleming for inspiration and that IMHO this informed his interpretation of the character for the better.

So, you mean Fleming inspired Dalton to weep up his screenplay? :)) :))
