I bought the H357 5049 (not 5040) and it doesn't work. The crown does not function meaning you cannot set the time. I Sent a kind note via instagram as that was our preferred method of communication to say I don't want anything from the seller but wanted to let him know. Doctor proceeded to block me rather than a friendly reply.

Very disappointing from one Bond enthusiast to another.

I bought the AVTAK Seiko last summer. The watch and everything was decent, price also. Only one small thing: I paid 20€ extra for what was supposed to be an advertising standee for the watch.

When I received it, after a while I noticed that the „007“-logo featured on the standee was the one they used from Goldeneye onwards, making it impossible to be an original standee from 1985 and therefore a custom-made one/ non-genuine.

But like I said, watch was in great condition (not working though too).

It has been suggested that he be banned. I'd have liked to hear his side of things before considering such a step. Any thoughts?

I think the best thing to do is leave it as it is for now and await a potential response. If he (currently) isn’t doing anything here anyway, a ban is pointless.

Yes, I agree.
I don't hang around the Memorabilia forum much, so would ask that if and when he returns could someone please use the "Report" function.
