I'm a 43 chest and bought the shirt in the Adriatic color in medium, in part because the color flatters me, but also to check out the sizing if I can ever get a black. I would say the fit is excellent and screen accurate. My advice is people drop down at least one size, perhaps two.

What are the physical chest measurements for a size medium?

Just measured my medium. Chest 23.5", sleeves 25.25" and shoulders 18.5"

Once again woaaaah. Going by the measurements of the medium and the XL (26"), I'm assuming the large is around 25"...definitely going to need to get some work done on mine when it gets here—that's beyond a generous fit.

Well my chest fluctuates between 44 to 45 inches so I think i do a medium BUT the shoulder measurements are a little small so a large would need to be tailored. Those measurements give a new meaning to a "generous fit" but I'm wondering which size did you get?

The Large measures about 24" chest, about the same sleeve length 25.5" but about an inch wider in the shoulders around 19-19.5". I have a 44" chest and broad shoulders and the medium fits right on and SA. Only tailoring needed will be the hem shortening.
