I didn't think of that. But Safin wasn't preferable to anyone else, was he?

But the title certainly fits Bond26. The audience will find the title reasuring. Bond is back and he's still the handsome/reckless/brave/ charming devil they know. Ideally it fits the plot too. Maybe Bond has to work with the Russians or the Chinese to fight some common threath?

I just mean Lyutsifer (Lucifer) Safin being the Devil, Madeleine knew him already, from her past. Bond even says "History isn't kind to people who play God". The irony being Safin actually playing the Devil through his evil plan.

    I like

    Now More Than Ever

Would kind of feel apt for a film where we need Bond back after his absence.

Yes, "The devil you know" would've fit NTTD.

I like "Now more than ever", but I like my suggestion better! 😁

    🤣

One of my favourites is "Dark of day". It's a twist on a known expresion, very much in the Fleming tradition. If part of the story is set in the far north (or south) the title is factually correct in the winter.
