Fellow Bond fans - my short video looking at the 1st UK Pan Paperback novels is now live on YouTube here;

Please take a look - can anyone explain why On Her Majesty's Secret Service is so scarce and expensive?
Direct link to my channel for lots of similar content including a specific Bond playlist is here;

I have no idea why OHMSS should be so pricey either, although it is regarded as a particularly good piece of cover art. Given I paid £57 for MR, I can't justify any more than £100 for OHMSS -{ -{ -{
I have couple of 1st edits (CR, MR, L&LD) but find them generally too expensive. I was disappointed you didn't mention how the tag lines and back covers alter by editions/year/artist, as I find this fascinating. Perhaps it needs a more concentrated video, focussing on the timeline of the different artists / cover art. I've done web research on this and usually end up head buried in hands!
Looking forward to the Tie-In Video, as I have them all so have nothing to be jealous of - but I bet you find something I don't have!
Hi Chris,
Thanks for the comment and those kind words. I know what you mean about the current prices, they do seem very expensive although it sounds like you got a bargain with Moonraker.
I am almost ready for my movie tie-ins video. I'm pretty sure I have them all, but some are pretty low grade and I'd like to source better copies before I shoot the video. I do have a couple of rarities, including a Pan display stand and a signed MWTGG (by some actors, not Fleming) to share.
I know what you mean about the changes tag lines and images on the back, maybe i'll analyse a specific novel, in all it's various editions in the future?
Cheers, Jules.
enjoyed your video on the p/b 1st editions.
I just have lots of other editions and cover variations of the 14 books including film related, but none are pristine!
Later Pan OHMSS p/b according to edition have either blue or green title lettering.
I've got the blue one but not the green. Do you have these?
I'd also like to get more American signet p/backs.
cheers, Bleuville.
