Mission Impossible 6 Fallout Trucker Jacket ID Help Needed

While not Bond related, it is espionage film adjacent to Bond.
I was hoping someone here could help in identifying the canvas trucker jacket worn by Tom Cruise in the Mission Impossible: Fallout London chase scene. While much of the clothing in the film was identified, the jacket remains a mystery. Unfortunately the costume designer for Fallout has no social media presence, so there is no way to ask him directly.
The color of the jacket is black or perhaps a very dark charcoal. It looks lighter in some of the outdoor bts photos, but since the jeans are a true black, I would think the jacket is darker than the outdoor pictures indicate.
Here are a couple pic of the button placement. If anyone has access to high res pictures of the buttons please post them. There may be a circular pattern on them but I am far from certain. In some pictures the buttons lack any identifying characteristics.

No, it wasn't. It is very similar to some Brunello Cuchinelli bombers from that year, but nothing was a direct match. The angle of the pocket zippers was different as was the hem stitching.
Thanks, unfortunately the trucker jacket (nor the bomber jacket) wasn't among the IDed clothing.
The Fallout jacket has a unique button placement with 7 buttons down the front and with 2 close together at the waist.
I was on the look for it ever since ithe movie came out. Literally went through every internet site regarding clothing.
Does anybody on here have something on August Walker‘s cargo jacket and/ or vest from the helicopter scene?

I would be thrilled if everything could be identified: the trucker jacket, the bomber, and Walker's cargo jacket/vest.
I did think that was a pretty cool look.
Only JV ID’d? And that was obvious due to Bond
HUNT:

Me too, Walker‘s wardrobe is superior here.
As for the green outfit, I got a few details:
JACKET:
• very similar to old field jackets from the french/ US military
• problem here is the purple lining, so I guess it is at least custom made
VEST:
• the vest is most likely a thin insulated jacket
• to vertical hidden zippers left/ right to the main one
• the material on the back is cotton or wool whereas the front is ?polyester?
• probably store-bought from an adventure company but there are thousands...

I know Diesel is a possibility for the trucker jacket due to button placement, but I haven't found even a not-so-close match for fabric or simple design.

Maybe. The jacket in the film had no ribbed waist. It could have been altered by the costume department. The jacket in the film did look quite short on Cruise.
Yes, I think it was altered. But the pointy shape of the ribbed collar matches perfectly as does the zipper.
I‘d love to get in touch with the costume dept.

Here's another hi res pic of the trucker jacket. When downloaded and magnified it shows some unique vertical stitching on the chest pockets. Maybe it will help someone ID it. I think the costumer switched out the buttons to hide obvious branding.

August Walker‘s green vest has now finally been identified. It‘s from „5.11“ called the „insulated vest“ in sheriff green. It also was available as a jacket but Cavill definitely wore the vest-version.
It took me over a year to find this thing, now I have it.
Anybody else wanting to get it? I found one site that still carries a very low stock and where I could get one in my size. If interested I can share the link...

Now for the jacket...
Lookwise, quality-wise and wear-wise this vest is just gorgeous. So many small details as two hidden chest pockets, hidden pockets on the insides or the snug collar that keeps you cozy at all times, this garnment has it all.
It‘s not what you would expect in the first place since this one is a real lightweight, almost like a shirt. The colour is a military green with a realy subtle greyish touch.
But beware: I ordered my regular size which equals a Large abd it does wear a bit big compared to my other jackets. So if you want the SA look you should definitely drop a size down, maybe two. Since rhe vest has stech zones on rhe side it will work.
Overall, a great piece of clothing I will never regret to have bought.

And yes, 5.11 fits large as they are "American sizes" !!!
I usually wear size "L" on garments but I took "M" with 5.11

Nice write up, AW. Would you say your pics are color accurate? The standard catalog pics look greener. I like the green-gray better than army green.
I think most of the catalogue photos do it justice. It really depends on the lighting, I‘d describe it as a bit of a pale-green colour.

Also prototypically American in addition to our sizing being "generous" to say the least.
I wonder if it was custom made for the film? The costume designer on Rogue Nation said that they had a fair bit of those outfits made as it was easier than sourcing them. The stunt double is wearing a completely different jacket in photos I've seen. My guess is that it's a selvedge denim or raw denim.
If anyone does have any luck please update this!
I have a plan to have one made - will update here as if it goes ahead.
