Casino Royale 67 pathetic UK DVD

I recently purchased the most recent region 2 release of CR67 and the only extra was a couple of trailers, Can anyone explain why the collectors edition with commentary by Stephen J Rubbin etc didn't have a UK release ? Also CR54 hasn't seen the light of day on dvd in the uk

The region 2 copy of Casino Royale that I have is letterboxed in a 4x3 frame, and not enhanced for widescreen TVs. Is the copy that you bought at least a decent anamorphic transfer?

Yes, I presume that you have the 2001 edition? Now that DVDs and Blu-ray's are dying out, I presume there won't me any future re-realeses of CR67 on physical media
