I'm a brand new member who stumbled on this while looking to buy your exact coat.

There are a few for sale with the correct lining on eBay. Which size are you looking for?

So I bought a size XL on eBay and it fits big, enough that I think a size L might work. I'm not worried about the lining but rather the fit, and from what I can tell, BR made a change in how this coat fit (they've made it every season for several years, in various fabrics). Older versions of the coat fit me beautifully in XL, when the neck tag indicated size by having a circle around the size of the garment; my version (and this one as well), which only list the garment's actual size on the tag, fits larger in a couple ways. I'm assuming they changed the fit pattern when they changed the tag style. The size L's on eBay have the old-style tag; the XL's have the newer tag.

I'm a regular at a menswear forum so these are the types of details we sweat over there LOL.

If Fred's got his still, it would be an answered prayer (so to speak)!

Was it you that bought the one on eBay that was from Australia? If so i actually spoke to the seller getting sizing information and it seems that based on the measurements provided to me were similar to my Bond Peacoat which is also an XL. I think the sizing on a lot of Billy Reid jackets have been slimmed down a little in the chest and shoulders but maybe it's just me 8-) Those 2 areas are my biggest concern as i can always have the jacket tailored down.

I was not, but I did have my eye on that before it sold. I bought one from Canada. I'm thinking of trying to resell it actually, depending if I can find a size L like the one we're talking about here. Also I'm going to get input from a tailor to see what he thinks, if I'm being neurotic haha.
