Alternative Matera Slub Linen Jacket/Blouson -NTTD

I am embarrassed to admit how much time I've spent trying to find an alternative to the Connolly Matera Jacket.
For such a simple jacket, you'd think it would be easier to find a suitable "close enough".
For my money, the closest I have found to the blue slub linen jacket is this one from Murano (and its inexpensive too). I concede the pockets are totally wrong, but the color and slub linen fabric are spot on. I also think the cut is closer than any of the other alternative proferred. This doesn't look like a boxy cut barn jacket or shirt jacket. It looks like a blouson. I think it really captures the spirit of the Matera jacket:

Both sellers have a wide variety of stock and sizes, so if youre looking for a close enough that ticks most of the boxes for less than $50 - you're welcome!

I've had blazers in similar fabric, it should be perfectly serviceable as a jacket. Linen might have a deceptive texture but in general is a bit more hard wearing than cotton, no reason to worry.

It's a trucker jacket, it's incredibly versatile for anyone of any weight as long as it fits. I mean, no one overweight is gonna look like Ryan Gosling no matter what they wear but that's not the fault of a jacket.

This is not the same style? I'm talking about the linen one that DC wears.. it hugs the body and shows every imperfection
Especially when it's short it puts emphasis around the belly area and doesn't make it very appealing

On the US sire I am a Large but on the European site I would be a XL.
HOWEVER at £10, ive snagged one. Nice throw on jacket whilst on holiday and Bond related, silly not to really. Ill happily settle on this, i wont be looking for anything more SA as i mentioned im not the biggest fan of this outfit and this this one found is more than reasonable. Either a reissue will be £300+ and a replica most likely £150+ so at £10 its quite the deal!

As Westward Drift said, the UK sizes run one size smaller than U.S. sizes (UK Large = U.S. medium). And Mango fits small to begin with. So if you need one from the UK site a size large may be a better bet. Just a suggestion!
