Lovely experience as usual at my local boutique. We were hanging around after the transaction catching, up when another of their regulars came in excited to see the watch. Their only copy was on my wrist! I put myself in his shoes, took it off and let him try it on for size. It's nice to be nice!

Very nice!! Kind gesture also - hope your wife guarded the exit :))

    New addition to the collection!

Bought this today at an Omega Boutique and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. I also got a pen, the Bollinger and a free future service on the watch.

As mentioned above the price in the UK is going up on September 1st.

It is truly a lovely watch...

Highly recommend Bob’s Watches FWIW. Excellent service and fair prices.
I’ve bought a few pieces from Paul there.

So, I was in my AD last week trying on another watch and asked if they would mind me having a look at the NTTD Seamaster (with bracelet) and trying on for size. Which they were very happy to.

It is a lovely watch' Looked so different to my QoS Planet Ocean in comparison. The bracelet felt very comfortable. As others have said, the watch is super light. I think the brown and faux patina is certainly 'Marmite'. Mrs Red Kind is definitely not a fan! If I had a spare £7500 in my back pocket I would probably go for it but alas, it's too rich for my blood.

Was just informed by one of my followers in Mexico that there was a price hike of $700+ USD. No changes on the US site yet.

My guess is anybody who was going to pay 7500 for the thing will pay 7880. That’s obviously Omega’s guess, too. Crazy if you ask me. That’s more than the new sub!

I wouldn't bet on that price sticking if I were you.

Picked up my new Omega NTTD Seamaster, absolutely love it. Anyone in Sydney I can recommend Shum’s, great service and discount. Previously bought my Aqua Terra from Watches of Switzerland, they couldn’t even come close to the discount Shum’s gave.

Well done and congrats! I had a trip to Sydney planned to visit my family this month which obviously got cancelled due to COVID.

And my plan was to go to Shum’s and also take advantage of claiming the GST back. But all that fell apart.

But glad they treated you well and you got a discount.

Thank you! That’s such a shame, hopefully you manage to treat yourself at some stage.

Awesome Monsieur. The NTTD edition is not in the London Omega boutiques yet! I have the others as well so need to complete the set.

I remember you could previously order these online but can’t find a link anymore. Anyone know how to get one outside of going to a store?

Does anybody know if you automatically get them when you’re a customer (and bought the NTTD-watch)?

A polite email to the boutique you got it from should get you one.

I wonder how the watch selection process goes for these films, does Omega make strong recommendations that they would like a certain watch to be featured? Does DC just pick out what he likes or do the production people make the recommendation and just go with it?
  • Asp9mmAsp9mm Over the Hills and Far Away.Posts: 7,541MI6 Agent
This last watch is very much a DC and production led request to Omega who then came along and co designed the watch with them. DC has huge input. It was like that for the SPECTRE watch, but this has gone to much higher level compared to that.

Wonder what losers must work at Omega Design and productmanagement when an actor who comes to the factory once every year gets preference in designing their watches :D
