That would have been great if they did a cashmere grenadine. Fermo Fossati weaves cashmere-blend grenadines. But the cashmere knitted tie that they did is very nice!
Hi Chris. For versatility, go for either the 5 button TLD long sleeve, the Goldfinger "Laser" combo or possibly the DAD or GE jumpers, I reckon. But for sheer 60's cool, it has to be the OHMSS Golfing bomber/orange mock turtle. But in all honesty, I'd take the whole collection in an expensive heartbeat...
As David already posted, here I am in the DAD roll-neck
Here is the Willy Bogner-inspired light blue zip through bomber and ivory roll neck
Here is the TLD 5 Button long sleeve polo
And here I am with N Peal Managing Director and owner, Adam Holdsworth, wearing the OHMSS Golf Suit inspired zip through bomber and orange mock turtle neck

Thank you Matt. I was speaking about the one your wear in your website
Can you share more informations about it yet eventually please ?

What more are you looking to know about the knitted tie? It's very nicely made of a very thick knit. It makes a great knot!
FYI, knitted ties and grenadine ties are entirely different things. At first glance they look similar, in the same way that a pomegranate and a tomato are both red fruits.

Well, if you're in the UK maybe not. 295 pounds for the thunderball polo is the same as for the V-Neck alone. Compared to the US price though of $495 for the polo, much better deal to go with N.Peal because the quality is on another level even if the set will cost more.
Matt says the prices should be about the same as the other pieces in their line. That means expensive but my main thing is not paying a Bond premium. I accept N.Peal is expensive so that's to be expected. When the Orlebar Brown line came up for sale, I was stunned at the prices I was looking at. People paid them though, so good for them.
You can get serious discounts on OB stuff if you be patient and shop around, much harder to do with N.Peal. I got my Spectre Shirt for $40 and swimtrunks for $30, both were new. Person just didn't list them as Bond items and I got lucky. So from that perspective, it's easier for me to shell out the big bucks on N.Peal.
Not to mention, if you own both brands you know that N.Peal is on another level. I'm not hating on OB by any means, just stating I'm that type of person who can spend $200 on X item and another brand sells X item for $100 and I can call the $100 item a ripoff and the $200 a fair deal. Quality matters. Hence why people like Matt or David will shell out big bucks for a fantastic dress shirt because it'll last 5-10 years with proper care and look dynamite.
N.Peal's pricing is very high but the quality matches the price. Orlebar Brown's pricing doesn't match the quality which is still pretty good but the brand name/Chanel acquisition has shot them upmarket.
Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I will go out on a limb and say that OB's profit margins are significantly higher than N.Peal.

I hear you.
I bought the OB Polo (at a discount, but still...) and no, it’s not remotely of the same quality as comparable knitwear from N.Peal or John Smedley for that matter.

As I see it, it's a fantastic collection of 2 halves- one half with pieces that don't scream 007, but, if you know, you know, such as the GE sweater, the DAD sweater, the TLD sweater, the LALD polo and maybe the the TLD long-sleeve polo. Versatile pieces that you could wear, almost under the radar, but would feel pretty Bondian in yourself. And then the other pieces which are far more overtly linked to Bond, like the OHMSS duo, the GF combo and the FYEO, which are a touch retro, but at the same time timeless, if that makes sense. A bit like the DAF Whyte shirt in the Orlebar Brown collection, which I bought and wore over the Summer. All the N Peal collection is exquisitely made, "reassuringly expensive", but you could class them as almost heirloom pieces. I'd say that there is something for everyone, but not everyone can afford these pieces, or would prefer to spend their money on something else. I love Orlebar Brown, but as someone mentioned, not everything makes sense from a cost perspective. Here, with N Peal, you can see exactly where your money goes.

Absolutely love this collection and look forward to getting a piece or two. I Just hope the social media coverage of it doesn't lead to over-saturation like what happened with the OB 007 stuff. Where seeing post after post about it for seemingly weeks eventually lead to fatigue and the hope of seeing of non-clothing related Bond posts "for the sake of variety" to quote M.
I am sure it's going to get plenty of media coverage, but unlike much of the OB stuff, the N.Peal designs are more subtle. A lot of the reason Orlebar Brown got attention was for coming out with that terrycloth onesie.

It's definitely going to calm down within a week after it launches, so we have about two more weeks of N.Peal Bond social media saturation. But until today, a number of people were expressing to me displeasure that they didn't do the GoldenEye cable knit sweater. I told them to hold their horses. I think the way that N.Peal has been asking us to release these items day by day is effective at creating buzz for more days. But I can understand that people may be getting tired of it after a week now.
Sorry if I missed this answer already, but do we know if this collection will be available only for a limited period of time like the OB collection or will it be available for awhile (For example the skyfall sweater is still available)?

It’s funny because I got an email from N Peal about the collection before I saw anything on social media, and I would have been more excited if I had only seen that email and the advertisement they released yesterday than I am 70 social media posts later. But I’m probably in the minority. I’m sure the influencer thing helps them move product to the masses.

When I looked at the site earlier this week it showed that the Skyfall sweater is still available.
I think the skyfall and spectre pieces are all available. That brand is amazing, non Bond related stuff is very good too. I am having a difficult time making my mind what to get, since here where I live we dont have long winters.
The girls and guys did their best to accommodate me a few days early when I enquired about 5-6 pieces I wished to purchase before I head 8000 miles south (postage and returns from the bottom of the South Atlantic is a nightmare). Sadly after a phone-call management declined to allow a few days early purchase. Props to the sales people for trying their best for me and offering me a whisky
Early access sales have started on the website—it's great to be able to see everything in detail now! Not going to be able to justify the prices of a lot of things though

There will be in a week when it's officially launched. They didn't even have their brochure on the line complete and only had comps on display!
probably the Gold finger, its my birthday on the 3rd nov so the mrs will be shown, fingers crossed
(On the other hand, by not releasing the prices they seem to be ensuring I overspend the day the collection goes live.)
The prices of the pieces I have are in line with the items already in their range. That might give you an idea.

That's good to hear. I need to drop some more weight before I purchase a piece like they offer. Back to the Bond 25 Fitness Challenge!
