WTB: S.T Dupont Cufflinks

Good evening gentlemen,

I am looking for a pair of S.T Dupont cufflinks, same models wore by Daniel Craig in James Bond movies. Not decided yet about the model but I must admit that I like the model 005172.

Feel free to share if you have a pair to sell, whatever the model

That's an understatement but what was the original MSRP?

Rrp was normally about £200-£240 ish I think.

Seen the 5174 and 5172 sell for £400 to 600 on eBay sometimes
I have two pairs of 5244 and pair about £1200 to £1500 for them
Then there are non film used ones
Bullet sell £700 to 1500
007 Ingot sell £700 to 1200

Actually I can get these, from ST DUPONT, brand new for £222, I dunno if it worth it for that price.

From what I understood, the back of the cufflinks is not the same as the 5172 used in the movie.

Not sure what model are you talking about. There is nothing available at Dupont´s webpage even close to the 5172...

They discontinued the 5172 earlier this year.

Yes this is the one. Actually when I've been to the shop, the guy gave me the ref. number 5172 and price $222 but looks exactly this picture.

I think I will go for it then.

They are using an old stock photo on their site. The retainer has had a different design for many years now.

Also, they no longer make them as previously stated. They still allow you to order them, but then after you chase them up, they tell you they are no longer made. I know from experience. I ordered twice in the last six months and was told this. The annoying thing is, they don’t inform you till you chase the order up.

But don‘t expect retail

Yes the HK website is useless and though to order from it. I had the ref. 5172 on my hands yesterday in that ST DUPONT shop.
Gonna take some pics tomorrow if I can but it can be the only one remaining pair in Hong Kong.
