White Henley looks

How is everyone wearing their white henleys, without looking like a lumberjack? So far, this is the only look I’ve had the confidence pulling off. Mine has the wrong buttons unfortunately. Found a very close plum merino sweater from Banana Republic to complete this great DC look!

Just don't wear it with plaid, and you won't look like a lumberjack. :p

Seriously though, henleys have long been a wardrobe staple of mine, and the last thing anyone would mistake my fashion for is outdoorsy lumberjack. Hmm, that almost sounds self deprecating...

The fit matters a lot. A looser Henley is going to make you look like a fur trapper or a Peaky Blinder if worn alone.

Wearing a Henley under a more sophisticated layer works well IMO. A suede jacket, a shawl cardigan, etc.

If you wear it with jeans (always a good look), just be sure to wear a great pair of boots.
