Hi all,
If this is the wrong part of the forum to post then, my apologies.
Just wanted to know if anyone had a line on when the tickets for UK cinemas are likely to be released?
I saw something about February on the 007 website but no exact date.

I guess I shouldn't be too annoyed though lol
How do I book my seats? Ticket vouchers are valid for participating Vue UK cinemas (excl. Northern Ireland) only. Each redemption code can be exchanged for any one ticket to see No Time To Die on or after general release. Your redemption codes can only be redeemed online and are subject to the full terms and conditions. Full terms and conditions can be found on www.007NoTimeToDie.co.uk. When the box office opens on Monday 2nd March 2020, details of participating cinemas and showtimes will be added to www.007NoTimeToDie.co.uk and you will then be able to choose your Vue venue and showtime. Once selected you will then be transferred to your chosen venue booking system where you just need to choose your seats and enter your VIP voucher codes to secure your tickets.
Booked the two screenings on 2nd April and the IMAX on the 3rd!

I think if it underperformed due to an external factor there would be no threat to the franchise.
Performance is performance no matter the circumstances. If they don't make the money they need to make from it there is a problem.
Sure, but some of us are making transatlantic travel plans for it... )
Saw a headline about this, but didn't read the article. Would it make sense to delay the release only in markets with high cases of confirmed COVID-19?
Plans that governments and airlines may yet cancel. Transatlantic travel is down and could yet be put on pause depending on which way the outbreak goes.
Great choice. I saw a film at the BFI IMAX a few years ago when we vacationed in London. The BFI is a great venue....the screen is 85'x65' and the sight lines are excellent, not to mention incredible sound. I just scored seats for Sat 4/11 at my local IMAX; it's not the BFI but at least the screen is 70'x35' and it has been recently renovated including upgraded sound.

Check it out, you won’t be disappointed
Some think the virus will die down in the summer, like most viruses do.

Oops wrong thread.
Indeed, but half the globe will just be entering their Autumn in April..
How much of the market is in the southern hemisphere? I would assume the majority is in the northern.
We can't extrapolate that directly onto box office takings, of course. But with the world's population 90% having their summer come mid-2020 and not December 2020, I think we can only all agree that MGM would opt to release NTTD to favour the northern hemisphere as opposed to the south.
Sure....they'll just kick out the current releases and sneak NTTD in there.
