New poll (2020): Who do you want as the next James Bond?

In this poll I have added some new names, but I think we all hope more talents will be discovered in the time before Bond26.
I have left out everyone born before 1980. An actor born in 1979 can be better than another born in 1981, but the line has to be drawn somewhere. The poll allows multiple answers.

I think many dislike Patterson because of his background in the Twilight movies, but lately he has proved himself in films like "The Lighthouse". He's British, 33 years old, tall and handsome. I believe his involement in Batman will last longer than three years, but other than that I think he's a credible candindate for Bond.

I think he could do both simultaneously. Have you ever thought of an actor who has played the greatest spy in cinema and the greatest hero of comics? MGM cannot wait for him to reach 40, to convince him to do so.

I finally got around to watching Extraction — ultra-violent but expertly made — and honestly, I can't see why EON wouldn't just throw $15 million at Hemsworth for Bond 26 and call it good. Give him a three picture deal. Hemsworth can do action, humor, and was chosen by People magazine as one of their sexiest men alive a few years back. He's even the right age for a "peak career" Bond. If EON is shooting for a billion dollar return on its next movie, why not consider a proven movie star who checks so many of the boxes, even if he comes at a higher price than a lesser-known actor. And yes, I know he might not be everyone's choice, but Michael and Babs could do a lot worse.

Definitely has the look, but I think late 40s is going to be too old for a first-time Bond actor.

Some bloke in an Irish film touted by Mark Kermode in the last year, he has been described as Brandoesque. It's about horses or something, an indie flick. I'd search myself but I'm not really interested.

I first saw Michiel Huisman in The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and I had no idea he was Dutch. He definitely has the look.

I've also been watching 'Boardwalk Empire' and have been drawn to the character of Richard Harrow so was looking into the actor playing him. It's Jack Huston (grandson of John Huston and nephew of Angelica) and saw that he was mentioned as a potential Bond back in 2017. Could be a very interesting choice. He's actually English.

I only stated that because with the Huston connection you could assume he'd be American

Anyway, the best man who never got the job is Gerard Butler. He could have used his Scottish accent to the full. (In fact, I can't remember the last time I saw him in a film were he uses it!!)
