Ordered - and seem to have an extra £230 still in my bank account, that wouldn’t be there if I’d gone done the OB route! Now, if they’d actually put a big, high collar on, like the original, I’d have been happy to pony up the extra, but not for what they have created for £300.

Well as delivery was free, as are their returns, I ordered L and M - and I think I’m probably an M. Temptation is just a ‘well fitting medium’ away from returning! I’ll let you know... )
How is the sizing on these? I've looked at the size chart but sometimes that is not the most accurate reflection of how an item fits. I'm typically either an L or XL depending, would you say these run true to size or is it either a size up or size situation?
Reiss stuff is very good quality and this is a great price for this item. I buy loads of stuff from Reiss and i typically find it slim fitting - depends on if you are carrying any timber if so size up as they are not normally baggy around the mid section.

bosoxfan - REISS items are on the slim side, so if you are in between sizes, I would say go up.

Got mine this morning and whilst I normally take a Medium in most (6’2; 40” chest; 32” waist) there is no way the Medium would have worked. Went straight for the Large and there is no excess in there at all. I would suggest ‘size up’ as, by design, it is close fitting anyway.
Quality is really good. Looks great with the zip undone - and an absolute steal at the sale price.

John Smedley’s have an outlet store in the UK. Found this for £49, which is a great alternative to the N Peal Spectre mock turtle neck. I ordered a Med and a Large. Medium gives ‘poster accurate’ tight fit (40” Chest, 32” waist, 6’ 2) but I’m keeping the Large as well, as it allows a little more ‘forgiveness’ to my slight ‘lockdown lard-ness’! Quality is as expected from John Smedley. It’s made from their sea island cotton.
