PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WE ARE ALL STARTING 10 MINUTES LATER !

The 19:00 deadline is set so that everybody has enough time to find their DVDs/Blu Rays, boot their players and get done with the menus and pause right before the gunbarrel sequence.

WE ARE STARTING PRECISELY AT 19:10


- Please make sure that everybody has their BluRay/DVD ( in the case of Barbel VCR) ready and start the player latest 19:00 GMT to get done with all the dodgy menus.
- PAUSE YOUR PLAYER RIGHT BEFORE THE GUNBARELL SEQUENCE STARTS AND
- HIT PLAY PRECISELY AT 19:10.
I‘ll post some timecodes during the thread just incase that somebody has messed it up

So, what do the viewers think?

Is TSWLM the first 007 movie, where Roger Moore played Roger Moore or has this already started with TMWTGG?

I won't have time for this story during the movie, so am putting it here.

The scene where Bond and the Minister walk past a submarine was shot at Faslane Naval Base, in Scotland. I was there a few months earlier.
At the time I was a student nurse, and the Navy was reaching out to local hospitals asking young nurses to consider a career with them. To that end, they were arranging day trips to bases such as Faslane.
One of the hospitals was mine, and I was one of the students that accepted. We got an interesting day touring the base, and a look inside a submarine.
I think the organisers did not perhaps realize that the hospital I was at was a psychiatric one, and most of the class of students were male. I got the impression that they were expecting a crowd of pretty young girls, not big hairy men. C'est la vie. Before anyone accuses me or them of sexism etc, this was in 1976 or 1977 and times were different then.

I‘ll say this in my most amicable voice, but if I ever need to be in a hospital, the least that I want to look at is your face because of you being my nurse, Barbel

And let me add, that it wouldn‘t help, if you wore a skirt.....

On one hand, I'm retired so that ain't gonna happen.
On the other, I did work in psychiatry so you'd quite likely have been a person of interest to my employers.

A person of interest. In the case of Higgy-Bum, that’s a massive understatement. That idiot opens up realms of research to psychiatry, psychology and even cryptozoology
