I think that we need to have some of the less popular films between the much-loved ones. We can all agree that we love a certain actor or scene, but there will be different reasons why we don't.

President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

glad to see you're all doing such a great job of saving the world without me!
I recently watched Berlin Alexanderplatz and Gottfried John is the villain in that one. Apparantly he's in a lot of Fassbinder films, His character in Berlin Alexanderplatz is weird and creepy, though the women he hangs out with are rather more pathetic victims than Xenia Onatopp.
You know...these huge 'save the world' missions. Why do they always just send one 00 agent on these? Are there always multiple 'save the world' missions going on at any given time that use the others or what?
well there is Thunderball. and in the book, he gets randomly assigned to the Bahamas, he doesnt have a clever clue to follow up on.
actually we're told in the Moonraker book there are a grand total of three double oh's, and the other two are in bad shape because of the long missions they've been on recently.
Barbel was those song titles you were giving correct (eg "Random Electronic Noise pt 12") or is that you making fun?
btw I don't universally love Casino Royale.
I think much of the first half is irrelevant action sequences, and the second half has this posh overly reverant tone that is inappropriate to Bondfilms as I prefer them. And still includes irrelevant action sequences at the expense of the details of the card game.
though I probably wont be available to help watch anyway, I'm just saying there are valid angles of criticism, its no precious sacred text.
On my own recent rewatch of the four Craigs, I actually thought SkyFall was the more consistent film.

I see it just as an evil plan to later pinpoint to one of your conflicting statements and complain that I am totally ignoring your requests.*
