    Marlohe plays the damaged/wounded type of Bond girl perhaps more effectively than any other actress has... nervy, scared, messed up by her background and by the villain. She's so brittle, for that reason, that it dissipates the eroticism.

    Very Fleming. Book Bond would take the time to get to know her, and help her. Film Bond doesn't have the time.
