Now, the most expensive fight ever. The CGI to fix Craig's hands (paint over the gloves that he was wearing when the scene was shot) was very expensive.
I hear that a bit but is it actually true? Why would he be wearing gloves with a tux, indoors?
Craig wanted to be wearing gloves for that fight for some reason. They'd shot a bunch of it and then realized later on that they had a problem with the signature gun. They fixed it by di
So, as someone who has never read the actual Bond novels: is there ever an indication that Bond had to seduce men in the text? Considering Craig's response to Silva's pass, I am just curious if this is just a way to bring Bond into the modern era.
I don't interpret the scnene as Bond having homosexual experience. He's just resisting interegation tecinques. If his rection was "Get your hands off me, you pervert!" Silva would know he hit an emotional soft spot for Bond.

Bond's apparent lack of concern about Severine's death is a problem, here, I think... because not Bondian. The sequence allows him no time for even a brief mournful reaction shot (as Bond over Aki's death, or even Bond taking a moment of sadness over Miranda Frost's dead body).
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Oh, I'd have to assume that part of his training would account for having to do whatever is necessary. If that means seducing and sleeping with another man, he'd do it. It's the job. It's not sexual at that point, it's just doing a job/performing a task.
That said, it would not surprise me if they eventually opted to make Bond bisexual just to account for necessity.
I wouldn’t go that far. It’s just words. And a mind game.

Your behind by quite. A bit. That’s why they’re confused. We are on the boat now. Severin shower etc...
He didn’t wear gloves in that fight. The fight that was CGId for gloves was the Patrice fight. Not the casino one. That is 100%.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Haha wow, interesting bit of info! Will have to use that tip during this isolation.
None whatsoever.
Novel Bond is very homophobic.
And I thought, that we wore them as a kind of protective layer against Bardem‘s fingering ) ) )

Tell us something we don't know.
Absolutely. He’s trying to put Bond off his game.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
It shows he’s not fun and likeable as he previously sets people up to think. Brilliant.
