    This is a great price for such an example, it's also in remarkable original condition, the blueing is 90% perfect. It can be stripped, cocked and dry fired.
    Good luck with the sale. -{

    Yeah, that’s a bargain. Would have been the model that the literary Bond used. Dalton has one in TLD publicity pictures too.

    Absolute bargain for this and sold by a top man who has been mentioned on the trusted seller thread loads of times. I'd be buying it myself if I wasn't up to my eyeballs with pistols and nowhere to display them.

    Decent PPKs are fetching a fortune now. You used to be able to get them for £350 easily. But now they’ve doubled.

    I thought that I had answered but it seems not :D

    Well, you can ask your Customs department but with an Official Certificate of de-activation it should be able to pass through. It will take time for them to examine the certificate and the gun but it should work......

    They're not allowed out of the U.K. Customs will detain and destroy it. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but I've never heard of a deactivated gun "sale" taking place with overseas shipping successfully. This is why websites state "no overseas shipping due to law". The only people I know that are allowed to do this are those who are certified by the government to ship and deactivate them, once they're in the country that's it.

    I know of someone, an American guy, who was able at the time, to have a de-activated Aliens M41-A Pulse-rifle shipped from UK to USA....a de-activated Thompson submachine gun in fact !!!
    It doesn't hurt to ask : a e-activatio certificate is also for that meaning : selling a firearm non capable of firing, no ?

    The certificate is proof of deactivation and that it is incapable of firing any kind of projectile yes but not for the purpose of customs officers to examine and allow into a foreign country, the U.K certification would be void if it was in any foreign country. I don't know how long ago your friend did it or how but I imagine an enquiry like this would be met with a no. If the seller wants to enquire then it can't do any harm but I imagine there would be an issue on one end or the other.

    Had walked through this before with a frend whose gun was disallowed from UK to USA--purchased from an auction house! It sat and accrued storage charges while schemes were made that never panned out.

    Even worse now too with the new EU deactivation regulations that have been made law in the meantime.
