Some of the music which was added to the extended edition of the OST in 2003 is in the form of medleys- eg "Aki, Tiger And Osato" so I won't be mentioning all of the cues.
Thanks for mentioning this, Barbel. The 2003 edition had been missing from my collection, but I've just bought it on mp3.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.
Thanks Gymkata! Whenever I see this moment reprised in the OHMSS titles sequence, it always puts me in two minds as to whether to switch discs there and then and watch YOLT again instead! I hope Akiko got a fee for re-use of her image in those titles!

To quote Eon themselves, when in doubt, ask Ian Fleming-
"In fact Corporal Tatiana Romanova was a very beautiful girl indeed. Apart from her face, the tall, firm body moved particularly well. She had been a year in the ballet school in Leningrad and had abandoned dancing as a career only when she grew an inch over the prescribed limit of five feet six. The school had taught her to hold herself well and to walk well. And she looked wonderfully healthy, thanks to her passion for figure-skating, which she practised all through the year at the Dynamo ice-stadium and which had already earned her a place on the first Dynamo womens team. Her arms and breasts were faultless. A purist would have disapproved of her behind. Its muscles were so hardened with exercise that it had lost the smooth downward feminine sweep, and now, round at the back and flat and hard at the sides, it jutted like a mans."
I have just watched YOLT and read all your comments, something that adds to my enjoyment of the Bond films.
Higgins - I especially enjoyed your accounts of your time in Japan looking for Akime and am glad you made it the second time. What great adventures. Maybe you could repost your tales in a thread just for them so more people would see them? It would be a shame for them to be lost in this thread.
I've enjoyed memory-surfing and putting those down.
About a separate thread, I'd happily do it, but have no idea, in which I section I should put that.
Enjoy continuing your watchings and our comments. What is next for you?
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
How about in the General James Bond Chat under a heading of Fan’s (or Higgins’) real Bond Adventures, or similar. Maybe it could be a sticky so it stays at the top of the threads? I guess that would be up to the mods.
Next up is TMWTGG, hopefully later tonight. My son bought me the Some Kind of Hero book for Christmas (about how the Bond films were made) so I watch the film, read the relevant thread here, then read the chapter in book on that film. Great stuff!
Comments
Yes, the Royal Navy were happy to co-operate (as they did earlier in the film).
Not sure if I agree re. Connery.
But his toupee certainly lost interest several times staying on his head properly and looking real
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
I have to agree. Only a few times did the "spark" come through.
) ) )
Always!
Btw, would you mind re-doing the one of Tania in FRWL? You know the one I mean...
Gifs of Akiko and Mie would be most welcome!
Moore- LALD? TMWTGG?
After the beautiful experience with YOLT today, we should kick ourselfs in the balls and watch TLD again
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
As a Daltonite I wouldn't shed a tear
LALD gets my vote

And you will definitely enjoy your purchase, Shady.
You‘re welcome!

And, er, thanks to Higgins for enlarging the image to make such academic discussions clearer.
100% not. I forget the name but will dig it out for you tomorrow.
WeLcome.
It‘s my modest contribution to make sure that AJB remains in the future accurate and trustworthy
