Do you guys have any experience of the above? Looks like a decent replica but I want confirmation that the length is at the waistline as per the original. They have a sale on until tomorrow night but they have not replied to my query probably due to the pandemic. Can anyone help?

I will preface by saying I have no experience with usajackets. My suspicions are raised by the fact they haven't pictured their replica of the Armani but the actual jacket itself. You can just make out the GA logo on the top zipper and pocket snaps. Replicas from Wested, Magnoli, and AJB's own Jared Nomak's prototypes have not been able to replicate the unique slouchy pockets.

The sizing of the jacket seems way off. I wear a US 41-42 and for a SA chest I would need a small.

Here's the dimensions of the Armani jacket size IT54, which ran more to a US42.

Chest (pit to pit): 22,5 in / 57 cm
Back Shoulder 19,7 in / 50 cm
Outer Sleeve: 26 in / 66 cm
Front from bottom of collar: 21,3 in / 54 cm
Back from bottom of collar 24 in / 61 cm
Shoulder to Armpit 10,3 in / 26 cm
Armpit to bottom 12,6 in / 32 cm

There are 5 I know of. That includes David Z's screen used jacket and Ross's that is not the SA color.

In terms of rarity it's up there with the Dunhill Layer Cake and the John Varvatos Martian jackets.

I don't know that company at all but despite the name of it, I doubt their jackets are made in the USA !!! They look like all the Pakistani made replicas you can see on ebay.....my two cents !!
To resume : I would avoid if you want a SA fit...to say the least.

This seller has been a trusted replica clothing maker on therpf. I originally asked him if he could do the Casino Royale jacket meaning to order one myself but ended up hitting a health snag and not being able to in good conscience spend a lot of money on a custom leather jacket.

That said he went forward with the project and his prototype, what he used as the picture, looks great compared to other sellers especially when it comes to the way the pockets are constructed as mentioned above.


On the topic of usajackets, just don’t buy from them. They’re not worth it

Thanks for your brilliant feedback guys! Thanks for your heads up about the use of the photograph Westward Drift, and on re - reading the website I don't think English is their first language! ). Thanks for steering me to etsy Timeyswirls. Looks really interesting. In normal times I would have pulled the trigger on this but at the moment I can't justify the expense,being furloughed at the moment. hopefully it will still be available when we come out of this.
