    There's a sense that Bond and Wai Lin are becoming friends, not just allies (reflecting a friendship between Brosnan and Michelle Yeoh).

    Their alliance echoes Bond/Anya but here it's much better developed than in TSWLM.

    The Stealth Boat reminds me of the HSS Voyager, a Catermeran ferry vessel. Only travelled on her once, but felt very 007, for a civilian ship.

    Back to Phuket, in the vicinity of James Bond Island. Also, it feels, here, like YOLT - exploring the coves - as well as TMWTGG (the junk) and TSWLM (the verbal by-play between 'detente' allies attracted to each other)
