I think Connery may have been directed to do it as if he was hiding emotions, but this is Connery's Bond... I don't believe he'd be close to tears over this. Tim would be blubbering into the beach towel, eh, Higgins?
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

And Roger would have an appropriate quip.

Adolfo Celi is thoroughly evil. Aided by Robert Reitty, of course.

A touch of sado-masochism in Largo's threat to torture Domino... That, with his habit of wearing his shiny frogman's leggings under his jacket makes him seem like an S&M kinkster.

Interesting that Hunt had such a say in the music at the editing stage.

Barry had left the film, and Hunt was still piecing it together days (if not hours) before the opening.

I think Soviet and German frogmen fought underwater tice during WWII, perhaps the only times combat divers have been fighting each other underwater.

Barry's music here carries the film.

Bond powers into the fight, but with the same sort of opportunistic interventions that he made in the gypsy camp fight in FRWL
