Sean was what, 53 or so here? Honestly, he looks in better shape than he did in DAF.

    Yes, indeed.

He's trying for the same performance style as in DAF. Light comedy, looking at the world with wry bemusement.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Don;t like MPenny as a dud. In her role she would be anything but stupid.

Yes, bottom of the Moneypenny rankings

Max von Sydow- would have liked him to be Blofeld in an official movie

That SPECTRE skull ornament... I wonder if Danny Kleinman had that in mind (as well as the LALD credits sequence) when designing the SP credits.

Barbera Carrera is wonderful - she absolutely scares Me to the core as Fatima.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

He's a Santa Claus Blofeld here... unfortunately with no Donald Pleasance around for re-casting...

I give up. What I'm watching has ad breaks and for some reason it doesn let me pause or fast forward. Have fun!

Max Von Sydow owning the screen here. Honestly, I'm surprised that the EON films never used him as a Bond villain.

Did they age him for this? He looks older than as Ming The Merciless?
The chap who plays Pitachi is a good match, he was in a few UK based films at the time. You could believe he was Bassingers brother.

She's gorgeous but she goes too OTT later on, losing credibility and believability.

I think she's totally brilliant in this, and in her case the OTT performance gives the film real energy.

To each their own. She's not a strong enough actress to be able to properly handle going OTT without breaking character for me.

I believe Meryl Streep was unavailable :#

There's some truth in that- the underwater toupes were very expensive.

Nice iconic infrared image of Connery's face. The red target graphic in Fatima's sighting of him is among the unofficial movie's nods to 'the gunbarrel'.

Pat Roach... Some odd casting but he was great as Hephestus in Clash Of The Titans and in Auf Vedersein Pet.

That Bench was a tomato crate in a previous life!

There's a cheeky improvisation to some of Connery's moves in the fight that recalls some of his lighter fight sequences in the earlier Bond movies.
