BANSHEE was one of the greatest TV series of all time. 4 seasons of raunchy sex and undiluted violence with a fabulous villain portrayed by Ulrich Thomson, who would be perfect for a Bond adversary.
The gorgeous Lili Simmons played his niece - surely a Bond girl in the future?
Banchee was very good, but isn'tthe lady in the third photo Scarlett Johanson?
Remind me not to drink so much rum and pineapple in the afternoons ) ) )
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
The CR06 score has a LOT of cues- 25 on the OST CD, plus about 15 more from other sources (eg downloads)- compared to its predecessors.
Is this perhaps the most complete Bond score release that we've had to date? What music (if any) is missing?
Probably the track from this score that I've listened to the most would be African Rundown, because quite appropriately it was part of the playlist that I used to listen on my iPod while running. A really good action cue, and I remember at the time being relieved at the lack of electronic sounds after the electro-overload in certain cues in DAD.
Other highlights for me are I'm the Money, Blunt Instrument, City of Lovers and Dinner Jackets - which not only has a delicious hint of the Bond theme but also introduces the Vesper theme which culminates in a particularly emotional rendition in her death scene (one of the great spoilerful cue titles: Death of Vesper).
Golrush007- As far as I know, it's complete in it's download version (though not the official CD. Bootlegs apparently exist with all available tracks, not that I'd know anything about them of course).
As to "most complete", that depends on how you define it! Some cues get repeated in a film (Peter Hunt, step forward), some are only seconds long, some are different takes on the album from the film, etc. This score is a strong contender for "most complete" but I'll go no further than that ("Ah, but you forgot the different edits of You Know My Name", someone will say, for example- can open, worms everywhere).
Back in 2006 as I was waiting for Casino Royale to start I was standing in a long line outside a cinema in Bedford guzzling a large Coke. Unfortunately within 10 minutes of the film starting my bladder was screaming at me. Somehow I managed to last throughout the entire film without leaving the cinema to go for a pee.

Barbel has invited myself and some other secret special guests to discuss CR at a Zoom Meeting right after the movie has ended tonight.
I'll tape the meeting and will post it on AJB.
If you have any questions, I have created a different thread, please ask what you want and we will try to reply.
