Did you watch HANNIBAL? he was flat out amazing on that television show. I expected that show to be a disaster and it ended up being magnificent.

Loved it. Got the box set of the whole series.

Back in 2006 as I was waiting for Casino Royale to start I was standing in a long line outside a cinema in Bedford guzzling a large Coke. Unfortunately within 10 minutes of the film starting my bladder was screaming at me. Somehow I managed to last throughout the entire film without leaving the cinema to go for a pee.

It's the simplest thing... to cause more pain than a man can possibly endure.

Yes, listen to the title song from QoS

Craig's accent also has a slight South African inflection in this scene. Maybe a hangover from his role in Munich?

I recently came to the conclusion that Mikkelsen's Le Chiffre is probably my favourite villain in the film series.

An exceptionally good performance in a well-written part.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Bond may be a new Double O but he makes no rookie mistakes... unlike Carter. Probably all that SAS training and experience.

Best action scene in a Bond movie since...?

The Carter actor is English, he was in the Sarah Jane Adventures after this.
Carter in this, Mitchel in QoS. Subtle Stargate reference?
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

Civilian collateral damage in a Bond action sequence... that was new. The construction worker who falls, to his death, presumably... and later the worker at Miami Airport.

I love the Bob the Builder scene!

I love when he's simply walking thru the drywall a bit later!

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

Right up there with Come In 007 from TWINE.

I assume the stunt men on the cranes had cable harnesses?!

I'm going with Vesper's later hunch about his background.

This footchase was the first truly satisfying Bond experience I'd had in the cinema at the time when I first saw this film. My only previous Bond cinema experience had been Die Another Day (which isn't a great start!)

The thing that impressed me the most was that it was done so much 'for real' and one really got the sense of the height in the scenes on the steel beams and the cranes. Really impressive stuntwork and cinematography!

The good days when a Bond Movie was not at all about his personal issues......

The bad guy shooting at Bond driving the big construction vehicle smashing towards him is very similar to the SF PTS...but for some reason the windows of this are bullet proof here—Must have given Bond a false sense of security in construction vehicle windows.

One last South African observation...the Nambutu flag looks rather similar to that of my country.

Ahh I don’t want to take my eyes off this whole Madagascar scene to comment—it’s so good!

To think some said Bond is "massacering" an embassy in this scene and it's racist :s
He's actually risking his life to avoid killing any of the embasssy staff.

Also, the Nambutu official who says "Listen to me." I've always thought it sounds like he is saying "Listen, ntombi". Ntombi is Zulu for girl :))

I think he's saying "Laissez tomber" (?sp) (let it be)

Wouldn’t it be funny if once in a movie someone shooting a gas/fuel canister had a realistic reaction and didn’t explode...Bond would’ve definitely been in a pinch
