Its an action sequence? Italian car chase...
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

The opening car chase, and especially the first Seconds, is actually pretty good.

Apart from the lack of a gunbarrel I don't have any complaints with this pre-title sequence.

The Quarry is a good location.

Oh wait! I do have a complaint with the PTS...why isn't Craig wearing the same costume that he had on at the end of CR?!? X-(

Faintly behind the horrendous noises can be heard the sound of uncontrollable weeping. It is none other than David Arnold, sobbing as though his heart would break as he kneels in front of his framed painting of John Barry.
“Forgive me, John”, he manages to gasp out even though his suffering ears are overwhelmed by the amelodic drone, “it wasn’t my doing! You have to believe me, I tried so hard- I even brought in Don Black and Shirley Bassey just like you would have done.”

“But they wanted to use this mess instead. You have to believe me, I did not write this!”
Even more faintly, the sound of John Barry’s body rolling in the grave can be made out….

It does seem that one of the baddie cars might have hit the oncoming tractor unseen.

Love Arnold's Bond '69-style cue as Bond gets out of the car... especially as the bullet smashed windscreen may evoke a memory of OHMSS.

I made it. Using my son's old xbox for my dvd which I haven't used for ages. Took me ages to figure it out.

I like this song for this film. Arnold's Shirley Bassey song wouldn't have sat well between the sequences either side of the titles.

This is bad of cource, but with other singers who can sing in harmony it would hav eworked IMO.

Another Way To Die- Various edits/mixes of this thing are available, if anyone is mad enough to want them.

Mr White's northern English accent comes through here. It makes him seem oddly avuncular.

    I hope M's gunshot wound isn't too serious :p

The photo of Vesper's "drowned" boyfriend is probably the most horrendous sight shown in a Bond film.

    M falls out of shot.

I don‘t think that M has gotten shot.

Somehow it always makes me think of Dr Evil's henchman having a deadly encounter with a vicious mutated sea bass.

I have a problem with this: in between the rather disturbing flash of a woman in the crowd being shot, and a later glimpse of folk gathering around her, we have this comic lady dropping her crate of cherries as if she's in a Roger Moore Bond film. I think Forster may have been wanting to make some sort of point.

No, she didn't. It's a clip earlier that makes it look as if she had been.

The foot Chase is edited and shot better and the fight in the Tower is perhaps the best in QoS.

It’s an action sequence? Was M shot? Where is the other guard? How did White get out?
One civilian or two? I’m dizzy already.... the scaffolding motion is incomprehensible!
