The cinema was aloud with whistles when Wint &Kdd held hands
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

Mr Wint's gurning is funny but sinister...
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Wint and Kidd are great henchmen because they are so unusual and memorable. The same goes for the nice od lady.

And Roger's boss in The Persuaders...

The actor Laurence Naismith also had an amusing role as a moaning poultry farmer in The Dam Busters, one of my all time favourites.

Oh that was him! Very well played.

    A brief Moneypenny cameo

Mrs Whistler is one example of many... i.e. quirky character types in DAF, not seen in Bond films before...

Music “Bond To Holland” uses the Bond Theme

They're much more frightening in the novel- it was Guy Hamilton's idea to camp them up

Moneypenny out of the office. I do enjoy this cameo a lot. Certainly a lot better than the pitiful parts she was given in the likes of TSWLM and MR.

I love Barry's scoring of the Amstel part.

Music “Diamonds Are Forever” Lounge version (“Source Instrumental”)- so the tune exists in Bond's world!

The opening meeting with Bond is perhaps Tiffany Case's best scene.

Lounge is definitely a defining feature of this score. I do enjoy many of these cues.

The repartee between Bond and Tiffany here is really good. Sharper and funnier than anything similar in the Moore or Brosnan films.

The concept is great. Sadly could not be these days, not without extensive re writing!

The Franks actor - setting aside how good he is in the lift, he is also funny in Carry On Regardless. 12 years earlier!
