The sparkling dialogue in this first encounter between Bond and Case is presumably the work of Tom Mankiewicz from what I've heard.
Tiffany was quite a significant relationship for Bond in the novels - the aftermath of their romance was even mentioned in the next novel (FRWL) which wasn't common.
Everything about this fight is excellent. The choreography, the violence, the sound design, the score, the stakes (Tiffany's confidence), and the comic pay off...
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Unusual for Connery to adopt another accent in any movie. A funny little touch.
But the "You've killed James Bond!" line just makes Bond look like a bad spy,

Snap!
What, spent hydrant, foam everywhere, broken glass and a corpse?
Worst. Felix. Ever.
One of my favourite of the incidental cues in this score.
My mistake, Golrush- this was a loop of another piece that comes later.
Correct. Even John Terry is no competition for worst Felix.
I like to think it's the same guy. Marc Lawrence has been playing gangsters for decades, inc one of my favourites "Key Largo".
They all sound more-or-less alike don't they?
Barbel- Usually I can tell them apart, though!
