Lots of bars like Pusfeller’s here on Mactan, they’re brilliant!
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

Is that Mony singing? I didn't know

Yes, that rendition can be found on the soundtrack album.

    Nice voice

Yes it is. I hadn't realised it was him.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Jack Lord, the idiot who demanded equal billing with Connery :))
Had he played his cards right he could have kept the role during Connery's tenure.

I've always been intrigued by the term 'puss-feller', it seems to come up a few times in Fleming's writing. I wonder if it was common in Jamaican vernacular? And if so, is it still a common term?

I think it was an early term for Trump

Monty was never a bad singer. His then wife, Diana Coupland, sings the song later.

The slashing of Quarrell’s face was quite brutal for the time

I wish the story was about birdshit, like in the novel :v

Is that 'Black & White' whisky on the table? I used to drink that brand sometimes.

DN's men are incredibly well equiped - how many criminals had silenced SMGs in the 1960's?

Still my favourite set in the Bond series, the circular opening in the roof with the grid and the shadows are so simple but so striking.

I love how Dent keeps the cage at arms length, he's terrified of it.

Fabulous design to the room with the ceiling grill

Dr No's "Sit down." Christoph Waltz really does impersonate that vocal timbre for his first line in SP, "Don't let me interrupt you."

I'm going to repeat this from the last time we watched this together-

    The Spider Who Loved Me

It looks like the spider could easily crawl through the bars

Not many actors in their early 30's today look as mature as Connery does here. Military service, drinking and smoking ages you I guess

In many ways I think Dr No was the template for many a Bond villain, the Monotone voice etc.

The spider scene is just about all I remember of this movie from my first viewing at the cinema in 1962

In the book that scene with the centipede or whatever was amazing. Made my skin crawl reading it :D
