Massimo Alba SLOOP Suit Color Variation

So I bought a SLOOP suit last year when it first came out(the one on the right in the picture). Recently I bought another SLOOP in a different size hoping to find a better fit. As I was trying both on I noticed the colors are different. Anyone got similar experience and would like to chime in? Any feedback is appreciated.

This is interesting. I was thinking to buy one as well next month but now i am wondering what the case is with the new one you got.

The old one looks more SA.

Interesting. How recently? have one from May and it's the earlier shade.

Is this been bought from MA? Might be the light but actually looks a bit like the color of the duster

Bought it from Neiman Marcus.

What is the colour code on each of the tags? I know with the Winch 2 grey cords, the only place you could get SA was from MA direct. There were other grey cords at other outlets, but they weren't the same colour.

The color code in the tag seems to be the right one U714 (in both suits)

I think they're both U714. I gotta double check later when I get home.

You should definitely take it up direct with MA. Their customer service is normally really good and they need to answer for this!

Mistery solved!
the writing in Italian on the tag says:
"each product comes with shades of color that testify to its authenticity and originality".
So on each suit there may be a different shade of color...

Very interesting.. How do you find the fit? Did you size up or down to get the better fit? Been thinking about getting one eventually myself.

I'm usually a 40. Since this is a more relaxed fit, I decided to get a 38 to see if it would fit better. Turned out 38 is slightly tight yet still fitted. Now I'm debating if I want to keep the 38 or return it.
