Want to buy Dior Spectre "Mr White" jacket size 52
DKLA

Please reach out if you own the Dior jacket and it has been collecting dust. It would go to a good home... it’d be able to wear it quite a bit here in Connecticut USA. Either color (navy or black) is welcome. Need a size 52. MAYBE a 54. I have a 46” chest but these run big. Hope one of you might at the point to part with yours. Thank you, - Dan

He did have one but I remember him selling it via eBay months ago! From what I understand these jackets actually run a little small because of the inside padding of the jacket and if you're looking for a blue one expect to pay a hefty premium as only 20 were produced!

Thanks for the replies everyone. I’m a 46” chest.

Hi everyone - hope your year is off to a good start. Just to let you know I’m still in the market for this jacket in black or navy. Thanks
Still looking my friends :)
Hi.
I have a dark navy blue one size EU54. Brand new with tags. Black fur removable collar. I could be tempted to sell.
The screen version one?
I have a 52 but a tad snug lol
I would give DKLA a shot at it first since he started this thread if it is in fact the one he's looking for.
@DKLA
If you really are a size 46 chest, a 52 is going to be too tight on you.
The EU54 comes up slightly larger than I expected for a Dior Homme item - usually Dior Homme is really slim fitting and so you have to size up, but non this item it seems. I would say its like a true EU54 and so may be ideal on a 46 chest (depending on how you like your fit).
Its dark navy blue (nearly black) and it confirms that on the tags - still atta hed becuase unworn apart from trying it on. Due its colour I think its from another run of the jacket, but its same as the orignal run in every other way.
Anyway, I will post some photos of it tomorrow.
I could be tempted in a swap to a EU52 :-)
welshboy's jacket is screen accurate, just keep that in mind,
sounds like yours is much darker than the dusty blue screen accurate one.
So here are some quick photos. Hopefully, from some you can see its Navy colour (compared to the black lining and collar). Tags confirm navy and material, which is cashmere and mink
Navy is my perfect colour and only reason I consider letting it go is because its a tad big on me - need EU52 ideally. Anyway, open to serious offers etc considering you can see price paid for this was £2800 (reduced from £3800)
Have sent you a DM. But don't want to queue jump so to activate if @welshboy78 passes.
I note the original thread poster hasn't been on the board for 3months so not sure what etiquette there.
Thanks - message received. I too don't know the etiquette, so perhaps others could guide me?
I am aware it is not the 100% screen accurate version - if it was, I doubt I would even be considering letting it go.
However, it is a beautiful navy and gorgeous jacket that I personally prefer (bit more versatile) over the film version. Also, its new with tags. Thus, I appreciate its potential value to some here and want to be fair to all whilst securing a fair price.
As I potentially understand, order of the queue could be:
@DKLA
@welshboy78
@Royale-les-Eaux
Oh, and while I have the attention of potential collectors of size EU54 items, please also check out my TF Kazan coat :-)
FS - Tom Ford "Quantum of Solace" Kazan black herringbone wool greatcoat - EU54 — ajb007
Thanks for the consideration.
I will keep to mine since I am dieting at the moment and making progress for a change. Mine is snug but still wearable and hopefully should have a tiny bit more room soon.
@dportch
@Royale-les-Eaux
Congrats on the progress! I am sure you will have the extra room soon.
Thanks for letting us know so the queue can be updated
@DKLA
@Royale-les-Eaux
Add me to the queue if possible!
@NoTimeForPie added to the queue :-)
Think the best thing might be to send @DKLA a message and see if they come back.
Happy to have a conversation to see if we agree a price in the meantime so I can be waiting or withdraw. You should be able to see a DM from me in your inbox.
I'd be interested but it would be dependent on measurements and pricing!
Thanks . Messaged received. 2 other ahead of you in the queue. If it doesnt work out with those, you will be next. Cheers
Pretty jacket. 2 things I noticed right away is obviously it's much darker than the screen worn one,
and also one reason it might fit a lot bigger is because it is also missing the screen accurate lining,
it's not padded or quilted.
And it is not 100% cashmere.
That's a lot of money for a non-screen accurate item. Good luck with the sale though.
There is a grey one from the original run with the correct lining on Grailed for $1,275. It is a size IT48

Put me in the queue of HARD PASS. That's way too much.
If I wanted one that's the wrong color and a fabric-blend, I'd just buy the Royale Filmwear one for $249.
Thanks for the comments. BTW That grailed listing is 4 yrs old, only wool, and totally different colour (and thus appearance)
I have not once suggested it is screen accurate. If it was, I wouldn't be selling, or it would be at multiples of the currently agreed price.
It is basically a beautiful jacket that is close to the film original, very rare, in a sought after size and arguably a better material since it is mink and cashmere. I noticed people were searching for one and so I simply offered up one that might be of interest to people - turns out, there is lots of interest and at a price lower than original retail (so I am not exactly scalping or anything).
I have the royale one too. It is great for what it is, so I would certainly suggest you buy that one.
Not suggesting you are trying to scalp, it's just that the non-screen accurate ones usually don't sell that high from what I've seen. My comment about the absurdity of the price is more directed at Dior than you. I'd say that jacket is worth about $500-$800. It still blows my mind the prices these companies like Dior and Tom Ford charge just because their name is on it.
dportch, I PMed you.
I couldn't help but notice that there are no pictures of the back of the jacket, and the bottom looks like it is ribbed and elasticated, is that correct?
Here's the picture that makes me think that:
If I'm right, and your jacket has a bomber hem, you absolutely want to mention that so that you don't have to deal with someone trying to return the jacket because they feel misled. The current non-screen accurate TF harrington has the same thing going on. Here's a pic.
