QOS cardigan vs new cardigan. Are the lapels getting thinner?

    You aren't imagining things. TF has changed the cardigan every year or two to keep it "fresh". Buttons change often as well as lapel width, body length, and sometimes even knitting pattern whilst still being referred to as the "McQueen Cardigan". My most recent purchase was of a mid-grey one from the boutique in 2018, the lapels are slimmer and length is slightly longer than the navy one I bought a year or 2 earlier. I get it that they have to keep the styles current, but I wish they left these "legacy" pieces alone. On a separate rant, I wish they never dropped the Regency suit either! -{

    They are also making it more upscale (100% cashmere in a lot of cases vs 100% extra fine merino wool).

    Yes, although, ironically, the leather buttons just look like they justify the 4-figure tag, whereas the new ones...
