ROYALE Haiti Jacket 2021 project

Hey gang!

I had a lot of people reach out to do a new version of the Haiti Jacket after the Adidas Y3 reproduction project stalled a bit...

I'm pleased to say here's the first look at the new sample. The subtle changes from the previous 2017 version are as follows (3 years since the last version guys, best to let me know if you are interested so I produce enough in your size, have a feeling this will be the last run of them)

These pics are straight from my manufacturer so I'll have better photos once I have it.

"The new sample for the 2021 Quantum Haiti Jacket is now finished... I'll post more detailed photos here once received. We're making a few very subtle changes from the last version, by reducing the weight of the fabric slightly, improving the pleat over the shoulder to better match the original Y3 jacket. In terms of fit, we've tightened the outer perimeter of the collar and given the collar some convexity, so the back of the collar will sit a bit more sharply upright against the back of the neck. All very small details, but the weight of the fabric and these small changes will have this one very close to the original."

Email subscribe@royalefilmwear.com if you are interested in this piece. Please specify in the subject line what size you might be interested in (just your regular chest size) eg. Subject: Haiti Jacket size 42 / large

Let me know what you think!!

Looks good! Looking forward to this. I'll be getting a size small.

Any particular reason why it might be the last run?

Probably because DC will no longer be Bond and there will be other projects that Dan may want to invest in plus these projects require a decent amount of capital to produce.

Looks great Dan! Glad the fabric on this run will be a little lighter—that was the only real noticeable difference between the previous version and the Y3 (particularly the collar being too thick). Keen to grab this one!

Does anyone know a reasonable alternative for the Levis Silver Birch? do I have to look for white/offwhite pants? thank you

Got mine today and the lighter weight fabric gives the jacket a whole new personality.

Well done as always, Dan, and thank you for doing another run of this fan favorite!

Take a look at Sid Mashburn. He custom dyes 501 jeans, lot of colors including a “stone” that may work?

ordered on Sunday received 11 days later. The thinner fabric makes this this version look feel and fit much different then previous version. Fit of my size medium is a bit roomier then 2017 medium. As usual for me the sleeves are a bit long. Cuff ends at my knuckles. I’m having the sleeves shortened 1 1/8”. For comparison I’m 5’9” 170 lbs

ROYALE Filmwear used a lightweight 96 percent cotton/4 percent Elastane twill fabric for the Haiti project. I'd classify it as mid-weight, very similar to the material used for the Harrington, but with a smoother finish and a slight sheen. The main distinction is the small percentage of Elastane. More on that when we talk about fit. if anybody want to buy real leather jackets i recommend https://www.bossjackets.com/product/spiderman-the-last-stand-leather-jacket/ this amazing i personally bought from here.
