What is the most socially distanced Bond film?

My vote is for Doctor No.

It's a bit odd.

I like it. But it all seems a bit detached. Nobody really connects. Bond is at least a foot away from M in his briefing, behind a desk. Nobody else is there. Not sure if Jamaica would be on any travel corridor...

Dr No wears a face mask much of the time. And as his hands are metal, touching is less of a problem.



V few extras in No's lair, okay because of costs. What happens if someone bunks off and pulls a sickie. 'What do I have to do here? Throw me a bone someone! I do not expect another delay!' They might not get a replacement. Then again, Bond is a stand in, just mooching around, like he's employed on Track and Trace.

When Bond follows Quarrel to Pussfellas, he's social distancing.

I agree even though Bond, Sanchez, his henchmen and more villans are all wearing masks in a scene in LTK. Obviously the social distancing in the streets of Rome in SPECTRE is exemplary, probably better than many places in the Nordic countries.

Yes, the PTS of SPECTRE is horrible social distancing. Witness how Bond heroically tries to spread the big crowd by scaring them away using the helicopter.

DAF is not a bad example. Connery's hair is on occasion perfect lockdown monstrosity. Masks in pts. And the queues outside the casinos resemble those outside Sainsbury's from 8.30am.
Not many on that oil rig either.

How about OHMSS? At first it looks like Bond is a super-spreader in the way interacts with the Angels of Death (now their name gets a new, even darker meaning) but that's only at first glance. Everyone in the clinic are a social distancing group, a bit like school class. We even see Bond and Blofeld working together using forcefull measures to quaratene the group when Campbell tries to infiltrate the clinic.

And Bond's trip to Ausberg could be blocked as it's in Tier 4... Yes, that's a good example. 'Ve are very strict, Sir Hilary...'

Plus there's Bond faffing about in the first half hour like he's on furlough and not actually doing any work but being paid for it.
