If one was to build a suiting wardrobe from the films starting with QOS, which ones would you get and in which order?

In any case, some obvious ones come to mind for building a versatile suit wardrobe for both work and pleasure while still providing variety:
1) QoS midnight blue "Greene party" suit - a midnight blue or navy suit is very versatile and can be used with a variety of shirts and ties (or tieless) for work and going out.
2) QoS charcoal "London/MI6" suit - like the navy suit, a charcoal suit is very versatile, although I would probably use it more for work than for social functions.
3) NTTD navy Prince-of-Wales suit - I personally love this one and think it would work great for work and formal social functions.
4) Skyfall grey glen plaid "Granborough" suit - again a pretty versatile suit.
Hope it was useful
In terms of style and fabrics I agree with much of what was said above, a classic navy / midnight single breasted, 2 button (or 3 roll 2) suit is certainly not a bad starting point. If you can also get a matching waistcoat then even better. That suit could fit many, many occasions from office to social.
From there on all of the fabrics for Craig's suits have been excellent, some of my favourites being the pick and pick Istanbul, the Greene party midnight blue and the glen check we'll see in NTTD.
I'm not sure whether you are looking to purchase actual Tom Ford pieces or not? If so you can take it from me they are pretty much the height of quality for ready to wear, non bespoke tailoring.
I hope that was useful!

Love all 4 and whilst I could buy a decent car with the investment, especially as have SA shirts n ties for each, love them.
