Tissot PR 516 in LALD

Coincidentally I was watching Golden Gun this weekend and you can see he's wearing the one with the cyclops fairly clearly in the hotel room scene with Goodnight and Anders. Looks like he wears it all the way through the film.

Well, as it‘s very much likely Moore‘s personal watch, it could have been purchased much earlier than when the movie has been shot - or not :D

I doubt it's his personal watch though, did he go in for this style? Doesn't seem very Moore. It's Bond's wardrobe.

He owned a Pepsi GMT (which coincidentally appeared in a promotional still for TSWLM), so I would say that a bezeled steel sports watch is indeed Moore’s personal style.

He seems to be wearing a Tissot Seastar in nearly all the New Orleans-shot exteriors from LIVE AND LET DIE, and I wondered if that was his personal watch (it seems partly visible in non-Bond shots of him before filming).

It's so curious - in that same director's chair photo shoot at the airport, they pose him with the Sub:

Not sure about the first image, but yes, the other pics show the Tissot quite clearly

Last one is the Submariner 1680 with the date cyclops that is not seen in the movie.
Movie watch is a 5513 which has no date and no cyclops

How strange, that one has a date window which the movie one doesn't.

He's not in costume is he? I don't recall that outfit. So I wonder why bring that watch along? I'd say maybe they were using it for promo purposes for Rolex but they never really did that then, did they?
Very odd, well done for finding it - I've never seen that photo before.

I think that Tissot looks nicer than the Rollex Sub. I like the Rollex Sub version that Connery wore, but since the early 60s Subs don't look as cool.
