Bond's Second Watch in NTTD - (Minor Location Sequence Spoilers)

Apologies if this has already been addressed but I couldn't find anything in the search.
During the Matera / Gravina scenes it looked like Bond had a different watch on to the NTTD Seamaster - which would make sense in a number of ways. I've just got the 'Making of NTTD' book and it showed this image, which would seem to confirm it.
Any ideas? Positive ID's?
By the time we see him in Jamaica, he is wearing the hero watch - which seems a little strange given that he's not provided with that until much later.
Yes. Considerably.

It’s the AT he wears in Spectre.
The new Seamaster he wears later on is supposed to be one of his old Seamasters from his naval service. That’s why it has an aged dial and the NATO markings for RN stores. Sadly it’s never addressed in the film. Q doesn’t give him that watch, he just retrofits the gadget to it.
I don’t think Q gives him a watch. He attaches the device to Bond’s watch.
Although it does make the dial of the watch light up: maybe it really supercharges the lume! 😂
Ahhhhhh thank you! That all makes perfect sense 😀
That does make sense. Is that a guess though, or do you have a source?
Yeah, you can see it clearly in the film and some of the promotional material. It's a black puck like thing Q uses a press to attach to the back of Bond's watch
It’s straight from head bods at Omega. They spent ages coming up with this design compared to the SPECTRE one. The colour palette derived from ‘tropical’ dials of old watches. And the broad arrow and RN Stores/NATO markings have already been discussed loads. Craig wanted a few nods to his naval past in this film. This was reflected in his use of rank, combat outfit and decor around his Jamaican home.
Not sure which bit you're specifically asking on but...
the first bit has been discussed in a few places - including by TBE and some of the Bond watch channels - but it's also in the NTTD display in the Burlington arcade pop-up in London and they are telling people this.
The latter has been in the Omega promotional material for the watch backstory.
Is the NTTD Aqua Terra 100% def discontinued?
The newer models have quite a few changes
Yeah. It is
👍
Thought that was the case. Thought Omega would of pushed them to use a current model and screw continuity lol
"it's also in the NTTD display in the Burlington arcade pop-up in London"
Could you please share photos showing that it tells this background to the watch?
Thanks.
