WTB - Spectre LE Omega Strap

DblOJoeDblOJoe Posts: 67MI6 Agent

Looking to purchase a Spectre LE Omega strap as a backup for my Spectre LE 300 Seamaster. Ideally this item is new. To be clear, I am referring to the strap model that has the 007 insignia on one of the metal strap holders. Not the generic Omega black and grey one.

Please let me know!

Thanks,

J

I've tried calling the Omega boutique here in NYC and they do not offer the LE Spectre strap anymore. I am specifically talking about the strap that came with the original Spectre 300 Seamaster that has the engraved 007 logo on the metal strap clasp. The standard grey/black version does not have this on it. I am happy to email omega directly to ask, but I would think their flagship NYC location would know. I'd be delighted to be wrong though!

@OMEGA BOND WATCHES might be able to help. I recall that they used to sell the buckle and strap separately but I could be wrong.

You need to order off Omega directly. I don’t think boutiques stock them anymore as demand is low. All you need is your watch reference. They definitely still have them in stock as I ordered one last Friday. Your boutique should do that for you too. They can still order them. The Bond St boutique would have done that for me, but I told them it would be easier to order it myself.

Don’t trust boutiques to know everything. Remember they aren’t actually owned by Omega, they are just franchises run by the big chains.

Thanks! I’ll reach out to both places.

Last question. Has anyone attempted to clean the nato strap? Dry clean, delicate washing machine cycle in a mesh bag, or hand wash? Would love details on any/all methods as well as tools/cleaning products that are safe and affective.

I just throw them in the washing machine buckled around some trouser belt loops. Or just in the shower with some soap or shampoo. Shampoo works best.
