Brunello Cucinelli in Spectre

By any chance has anyone reached out to Brunello Cucinelli recently to inquire about Spectre items (Jacket, Pants, belt)?

If so, is anything still available?

The belt and I think the pants will be a no go but I think the jacket may be purchased as a MTM item. I am sure there is someone on here who can confirm for you.

With nobody jumping in last week, I emailed BC asking about the Jacket and the pants. The pants are a no go as a MTM and I was quoted a price of $5.495 for the Jacket as a MTM.

DAMN. That is quite the quote for the jacket.

Too bad about the pants, would have loved to be able to get a pair also the shirt from NTTD. Brunello quality is incredible.

I contacted them at London store yesterday and was quoted £3700 MTM.

Which is still expensive. That’s $4100 US. Phew.

  • I can't remember if it was the member who is heading up the QoS tie project or not...

but if I recall correctly, if 2 or more go in for an order, I think the price drops to $3,500...

    I could be wrong though.

Is the original fabric of the blazer still available?

  • I would assume the belt is long gone.

I don't think they make the chinos anymore either.

Yeah I feel like I’ll never find the belt or chinos

You are correct it was him! The jacket is nice and i do understand that coats go up but that jacket is now almost triple the trail price which is insane!

If 2 drops to $3500.... I wonder how low could it go if 40-50 people get on this like with the TF projects?

    Yes. Consssssiderably.

I’d be in for the jacket

I think with 40 to 50 people you are getting out of a Made to Measure situation and into a standard size situation. It would be more like the Tom Ford projects that are in various states. I don't know if anyone has approached BC to see if they would do it, how much fabric they have etc. Feel free to email them to ask. Edoardo Cerutti in the NY store is who emailed me after my initial inquiry. His email is ecerutti@brunellocucinelli.com.

I was today at BC in Milan. They will offer the fabric of the Spectre jacket in their MTM range with the SS 23 collection. Price for the MTM jacket EUR 3.995,-. As it will be part of the new collection it can be ordered at each BC store.

Awesome news! My first 2 thoughts:

    1) I wonder how low a group buy could go?

    2) Hopefully, we can get more details on design and color on the blazer for an even more accurate Version 3 of the Royale blazer?

    Yes. Consssssiderably.

I have a VERY close BC jacket in terms of color, composition, and cut, and while it’s nice for what it is, there’s no way I could justify paying the equivalent of an off the rack Tom Ford suit for it.

The price mentioned to me, was when I‘d order it now. Will see what the price will be in 2 months. Usually BC launch the SS in Dec each year and AW in June.

However, it was mentioned as standard range, not limited. They want to expand overall their MTM business. On top, you‘ll find in the stores jackets from the rack costing 3.3k, AW collection even more. Not included any price increase due to inflation that might come with the new collection.

Yeah confirmed the jacket is $5995 MTM

The linen-wool-silk blend fabric is so beautiful though, wonder if some bespoke shops would carry similar ones

  • armenianmoviemanarmenianmovieman The 818Posts: 701MI6 Agent

Is it anywhere on the website? Or is it in store only? I checked the site, couldn't find it anywhere.

    Yes. Consssssiderably.
  • hli600hli600 Posts: 19MI6 Agent

In store only, as part of the MTM fabric offerings

I am reluctantly letting my Brunello Cucinelli blazer go to a new home. I was lucky enough to have mine made at the time of SPECTRE's release, from the original bolt of material used., so it is as screen-accurate as can be. I am looking for £1995, plus insured shipping to your location. Jacket has been worn a few times, but I am including tags for your records. As you can read above, if you want to buy the jacket now, it will cost you £3700 MTM, so you are getting a significant saving, and with the original material. PM me if you are interested, and thanks for looking.

    Blair

    Measurements, when laid flat-

    Chest: 20"/41cm

    Arm: 25.5"/65cm

    Shoulder: 18"/46cm

    Back (including collar): 30.5"/78cm

    Back (not including collar): 29"/74cm

Sadly, that is just not my size, otherwise I’d have been tempted here.

But this post illustrates perfectly a point I was making in my Morocco Inspiration thread. It’s very difficult to get an accurate idea of the colour of the original jacket as almost every lighting condition, filter, flash etc shows it in a different shade. Here you have 12 photos of the original and about 8 different shades/colours and they seem to vary significantly.

Which photo would you say represents the closest accurate colour?

Good luck with the sale, somebody is about to find a bargain!
