The 1973 James Bond film “Live and let die” was not only a great film but it also featured a very special watch. Now you are probably thinking about either the digital Pulsar from the beginning of the film or the Rolex 5513 Submariner. The latter with a bezel that could cut through rope and a magnet that could deflect bullets, or unzip dresses which is typical 007. The Rolex might have been the star prop of the film, but there was another, less well know watch the got some screen time on Sir Roger Moore’s wrist.

James jumps into a speedboat and gets chased by the bad guys in the Louisiana bayous. This is where the Submariner gets turned into a different watch, a Tissot PR 516. This watch was most likely Sir Roger Moores personal watch which he forgot to change before getting in front of the camera. It’s easy to miss, but the bracelet on the Tissot is what gave it away.. After a few quick rewinds it was easy to see the unprotected crown, white minute and hour hands and most of all the orange seconds hand, which really pops!

I present you the same watch from my personal James Bond Collection. It is very rare and really hard to find these days. It is highly collectible, highly desireble.
